FIELDS is a contemporary menswear brand shaped by conscious design, local collaboration, and sustainable values. Founded in 2019 by Mikael Hanan, the brand approaches clothing as a reflection of a multifaceted identity—where art, contemplation, and the natural world intersect.
Their collections are organised into three distinct lines. Soul explores connection and integrity. Art represents creativity, work, and leadership. Outdoor draws from the tactile world and the rhythms of nature. Each collection balances aesthetic intention with practical wearability.
FIELDS is deeply committed to slow fashion. Their garments are crafted using sustainable natural fibres that are biodegradable and durable. With sourcing and production rooted in Southern Africa, the brand proudly supports local mills, yarn producers, and factories that share their ethos.
Now with four boutiques across South Africa, FIELDS continues to grow without compromising its values. Their slow-fashion approach ensures that every piece stands the test of time, resisting seasonal trends in favour of timelessness and quality.
